Kessler Introduces Automotive-Inspired Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott in Richmond Hill, Georgia

The Kessler Collection is proud to announce our latest venture: a dual-branded Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Set to open in late 2026, the new development brings Kessler’s signature blend of elevated design, artistic inspiration, and best-in-class Southern hospitality to one of Georgia’s fastest-growing communities. Just a short drive from Savannah, this new destination blends convenience with character — offering a stay that feels both nostalgic, and entirely new.

A Design Story Rooted in American Heritage

Located near the former winter estate of Henry and Clara Ford, the design draws inspiration from the area’s rich history, blending classic Lowcountry architecture with subtle automotive-inspired details. Inside, guests will discover a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere filled with curated local artwork, and calming tones punctuated by vibrant accents. Nodding to Ford’s legacy and the romance of the open road — the hotel offers an inviting space whether you’re pulling off the interstate or planning an extended stay.

“We’re not just building a hotel,” said Richard Kessler, Chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. “We’re creating a destination that brings back the magic of the great American road trip.”

Built for the Modern Traveler

Perfectly positioned along the I-95 corridor, the hotel is designed for today’s traveler — welcoming families, business travelers, and road-trippers alike. As Richmond Hill continues to grow with a new high school, hospital, and manufacturing hubs, the hotel will also offer flexible meeting space for both corporate and community events. Also included in the development is a new drive-through Starbucks  — set to open in late 2025 — adding even more convenience for guests and locals alike.

Expanding on a Lasting Legacy

This project continues Kessler’s legacy of transformative development throughout Savannah and the Southeast.  From artful design to distinctive guest experiences, we are proud to help shape vibrant new destinations that celebrate discovery, culture, and community.

“Expanding into Richmond Hill is a natural next step that positions us to carry our legacy forward and create an elevated destination for this growing community,” said Mark Kessler, President & COO of The Kessler Collection.
