Brian A. Py brings 42 years of professional experience in the fields of hospitality and commercial real estate development, finance, and feasibility and asset management to The Kessler Enterprise, Inc.

Brian joined the firm in 1999 and is responsible for implementing the development concepts and visions from site and property acquisitions through the development process, including capital budgeting, pro forma analysis, capital structuring, and asset management. He coordinates placement of debt financing and equity investments, and develops ongoing financial investment relationships for The Kessler Enterprise, Inc.

Brian’s 23 years with The Kessler Enterprise, Inc. include his participation in the acquisition, structuring, development, and financing of the current assets in the portfolio and acquisitions and dispositions of hotels, assets, and non-strategic holdings.

He has directed the development of hotels and commercial office buildings throughout the United States with a construction cost value exceeding $3 Billion and has been a developer and consultant in structuring, coordinating and negotiating private and public sector hospitality projects. Brian was also a hospitality consultant with Laventhol and Horwath and owner / developer of assets in California, Florida, North Carolina, and Wisconsin prior to joining The Kessler Enterprise, Inc.

Brian has directed development projects for organizations including JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, InterContinental Hotel Group (I.H.G.), Hilton Hotels & Resorts (DoubleTree Hotels and Resorts, Embassy Suites, and Hampton Inn), Omni Hotels, Starwood Hotels and Resorts (Westin, Luxury Collection, and Sheraton), Radisson Hotels Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Preferred Hotels and Resorts.

Brian is an experienced sailor, avid canoeist, and antique aficionado. He is a sports car and IndyCar superfan and can’t resist the hairpin turns and high jumps of a good Supercross race. When he’s not busy managing insurance and developing relationships for on-going financial investments, you may find him in the woodlands of northern Wisconsin or off the coast of the Florida Keys.

He is a graduate of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, with a BBA in Finance and a concentration in the Urban Land Development Program along with a minor in Geography. He’s had his real estate license in Florida since 1998.
