The Grand Bohemian Gallery is proud to host exclusive pop-up exhibitions highlighting a variety local artists throughout the duration of Charleston’s esteemed Spoleto Festival USA.

From May 26th – 30th, experience our opening mini-series featuring Hirona Matsuda and Kirsten Hoving. Join us in the Gallery on May 27th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM to welcome the artists with an intimate reception.

Kirsten Hoving is a photographer and multimedia artist from Charleston, SC. She frequently combines photographs with unusual processes, materials, and presentations to evoke quiet dreams and half-remembered tales.

Hirona Matsuda is a sculptor and installation artist who communicates through immersive environments interpreted using objects. Her work is made from repurposed natural and found materials as well as mechanical components for kinetic and interactive sculpture
