Kessler invites guests to experience a journey across eras as Savannah’s historic riverfront transforms into a vibrant new entertainment destination, Plant Riverside District. Set to debut in 2019, it will be the most sought-after location for any occasion. This 4.5-acre, riverfront district will welcome guests and locals to luxury hotel stays at JW Marriott, incredible dining, vibrant rooftop lounges, live music and concerts, a Grand Bohemian Art Gallery and high-end retail shopping.

After more than 100 years with no public access to the riverfront, guests and visitors will soon have a quarter mile of new riverwalk that will reconnect them with the legendary Savannah River. Families can also take advantage of numerous attractions that are fun for the little ones, including natural science exhibits, splash pads and a MLK Jr. dedicated park. The district will offer more than 17,000 sq. ft. of ballroom space for meetings and events, including breakout rooms, pre-function space and public areas like inspired rooftop lounges for private parties.

The JW Marriott will introduce three luxurious hotels with 419 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites—the Atlantic Building, Power Plant Building and Three Muses Building. Once an iconic power plant in Georgia, Plant Riverside District will now represent the beauty of progress—a graceful nod to the past and enchanting transition to the generations of our future.
