Day Dantzler joined The Kessler Enterprise, Inc. in 1996 as Director of Real Estate. In November 2001, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer while retaining his duties as head of the Real Estate Division. In October 2011, Day was appointed Chief Administrative Officer and EVP of Development. During his 25 years with The Kessler Enterprise, Inc., Day has been involved in all aspects of the business and has been an integral part of the growth and success of the company which currently includes luxury, boutique hotels, restaurants and retail. Day’s primary focus is acquisitions, development approvals, contract negotiations, construction management and financing. Day was part of the executive team that negotiated the financial and franchise agreements with Marriott in 2010 for the launch of the Autograph Collection. Seven of the Kessler Collection hotels were placed under a long-term master franchise agreement with Marriott to launch the Autograph Collection brand.
Day was born in Orlando and attended the University of Central Florida, graduating in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He joined Brass & Schneider, Inc., a well-established Orlando real estate appraisal and consulting firm, and eventually headed up the firm’s commercial appraisal department. He specialized in various income investment properties such as hotels, apartments, office buildings, shopping centers and industrial property. He worked for major lenders at the local and regional levels.
Day has been a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida since 1980 and is currently Broker of Record for Florida Enterprise Realty, Inc. His 45 years of commercial real estate and financing experience in Central Florida are a solid foundation for financial and administration management of the Kessler portfolio along with oversight of future development opportunities.
